Origami Tech Joins Draper University's Apex Growth Accelerator

Origami Tech has been selected to participate in the Apex Growth Accelerator, a Silicon Valley program organized by Draper University in partnership with the Cardano Foundation and Orion Fund.

The program brings together Web3 companies working on blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance, real world assets (RWA), enterprise applications, and AI technologies. Its goal is to help established projects expand their businesses, develop commercial partnerships, and prepare for further investment.

The accelerator officially began on October 12, 2026.

What Is the Apex Growth Accelerator?

The Apex Growth Accelerator is a program lasting 10 weeks, designed for startups that have moved beyond initial product development and are preparing for their next stage of growth.

The program is run by Draper University, a Silicon Valley entrepreneurship school and startup accelerator founded by venture capitalist Tim Draper.

Based in San Mateo, California, Draper University works with entrepreneurs, technology founders, mentors, and investors to support the development of new businesses.

Apex is part of a broader initiative to support companies building within the Cardano ecosystem. The initiative includes two programs:

Genesis Pre-Accelerator focuses on early stage technical teams, helping them validate products, develop business models, and prepare for market entry.

Apex Growth Accelerator targets more established companies with working products and early commercial traction. Its emphasis is on customer acquisition, business development, fundraising, and scaling operations.

The current Apex program focuses particularly on Institutional DeFi, RWA, and enterprise blockchain solutions.

What Does the Program Offer?

Apex combines a Silicon Valley residency with mentorship, business development support, and access to investors. Participants work on growth strategies, commercial partnerships, and fundraising preparation. The program concludes with Demo Day, where teams present their progress and plans to potential investors.

The Cardano Foundation and Orion Fund Partnership

Apex Growth Accelerator operates within a broader collaboration between Draper University, the Cardano Foundation, and Draper Dragon.

The Orion Fund is an investment initiative focused on supporting companies developing within or integrating with the Cardano ecosystem.

The fund targets areas including Institutional DeFi, real world asset tokenization, and blockchain infrastructure, with the wider goal of expanding institutional adoption and onchain economic activity.

Draper Dragon manages the fund, while the Cardano Foundation provides ecosystem and technical support. Draper University serves as the acceleration partner, providing entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and access to its international network.

Through this collaboration, the partners aim to connect promising Web3 projects with the expertise, capital, and commercial relationships needed to grow.

Origami Tech in the Apex Growth Accelerator

Origami Tech joins the accelerator as an Institutional DeFi project focused on noncustodial crypto trading automation and execution infrastructure for professional traders and AI agents.

Founded by Roman Korotchin, Origami Tech provides a crypto trading bot platform for managing automated strategies and executing orders across multiple cryptocurrency exchanges.

Our platform enables users to develop and manage crypto trading strategies, connect multiple exchange accounts, and monitor portfolio performance through a unified interface.

One area of our future development is a verification layer that could allow users to check AI agent permissions and risk limits while protecting confidential strategy information.

We are also exploring the potential of Cardano and Midnight technologies for applications requiring privacy, verifiable execution, and control over automated financial operations.

Participation in Apex provides Origami Tech with an opportunity to further develop our growth strategy, explore potential partnerships, and engage with investors and other teams working on financial and blockchain infrastructure.

What's Next?

Over the course of the accelerator, Origami Tech will participate in a program centered on business growth, commercial partnerships, and fundraising preparation.

The program will conclude with Demo Day, bringing participating companies together with investors to present their progress and future plans.
